Writing and Art Exhibition

Over the last couple of weeks the students have been busy designing, drawing, creating and colouring their puppet art for the exhibition, and they are looking amazing!

Our writing is based around the book we have been reading in class - "Gangsta Granny" by David Walliams.  Be prepared to read about lots of daring crimes, dastardly villains and sparkling jewels!

Here's a little taster of some of the amazing writing that is being finished off this week in class:

"Creak, creak went the floorboards.  The greedy robber silently walked to the jewel room, jewels sparkled in his eyes."

"The police cars pulled up beside Barry.  An officer hopped out of the police car and said in a deep voice, “You’re in big trouble Mister.” "

"When the guards fell asleep we sneaked in and broke the locker,  “YAY THIS IS AWESOME!” shouted Mayer. "

"Later he had a search around the houses for some valuable items.  He had found some diamonds, emeralds, golden ingots, bottles of enchantments, swords and armour. Then he was gone."

In fact the writing has been so good, we've had to call in Torbay School's Writing Police... I wonder what could be going on?
